(24 May 2011) At a ‘one stop’ stand at Beef Expo 2011 at Newark Showground this week, farmers will be able to get expert advice about Environmental Stewardship (ES) schemes from Natural England staff and meet representatives from other organisations at a single information point at Thursday’s event.
Northamptonshire’s Upper Nene Valley is Europe’s newest Special Protection Area.
(12 January 2012) Following four years of close cooperation between local authorities, developers and key stakeholders, 1386 hectares of Northamptonshire’s wetland and surrounding areas across the Upper Nene Valley were designated last July by Defra.
