Cavenham Heath:

Sunday 1 June: Woodland and Birds Walk
A guided walk looking at the wildlife and management of the woodland at Cavenham Heath.

Sunday 8 June: Wetland walk
A guided walk exploring the wildlife and management of the wetland habitats at Cavenham Heath

Sunday 22 June: History walk
A guided walk looking at the history of Cavenham Heath to pre-historic times, especially looking at wartime artefacts.

Sunday 20 July: Heathland Walk
A guided walk exploring the natural history and management of Cavenham Heath.

Sunday 17 August: Butterflies and flowers on the heath
Come and see the heather in bloom and the butterflies and other insects feeding on the abundant nectar.

Come and see the heather in bloom and the butterflies and other insects feeding on the abundant nectar.

All walks start from the new car park at the Tuddenham end of the reserve. Unless otherwise specified walks are from 2-4pm. Wear stout shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Booking is essential – please ring Natural England on 01284 762218.

Chippenham Fen:

Sunday 6 July: Flowering plants and other wildlife walk
A guided walk to look at the flowers, wildlife and management of the reserve

Sunday 3 August: Management of Chippenham Fen for nature
A guided walk looking at the different management methods used to maintain this reserve

All walks are from 2-4pm. Wear stout shoes or wellies and dress appropriately for the weather. Booking is essential – please ring Natural England on 01284 762218.

Barnack Hills and Holes:

Friday 4 July and Saturday 5 July: Glow-worm walk
Discover the mysterious nocturnal world of the glow-worm. Booking for these walks is essential - contact the Reserve Manager on 07970 408415
Bring a torch. Note late finish time.
