Natural England - Farm visits and events

Farm visits and events

We help farmers and land managers learn more about Environmental Stewardship and related topics by making farm visits, attending national sector events, and by running a programme of regional events and online training webinars.

ELS Online webinars

You are invited to join an ELS Online training session from the comfort of your farm office – all you need is access to the internet and a telephone.

Making Environmental Stewardship More Effective (MESME) changes webinars

The sessions are now closed. If you missed any you can still access the recordingsexternal link. Further information can be found on our MESME pages.

National sector events

Visit us at these events for advice and information on all aspects of farm advice and grants, including Environmental Stewardship, Campaign for the Farmed Environmentexternal link, Catchment Sensitive Farming, Soils for Profit (S4P), Single Payment Scheme and Cross Compliance.

Natural England advisers will be on hand alongside other farming agencies, such as the RPA and Environment Agency, to answer any questions on the various schemes and online services available for farmers. We will also be running ELS Online demonstrations, and will have a farm scale-model on display to talk through the options available to farmers and their agents. Farmers who are already in Environmental Stewardship, and other schemes, will be available on the stand to discuss how it works for them.

Regional events

Attend a free event to find out more about Environmental Stewardship, Cross Compliance, or Catchment Sensitive Farming. For details of farm events, please email farm.events@naturalengland.org.uk or call 0300 060 1695.
