We help farmers and land managers learn more about Environmental Stewardship and related topics by making farm visits, attending national sector events, and by running a programme of regional events.
If you are considering signing up to ELS, Organic ELS or Uplands ELS for the first time, or if you are renewing your agreement or transferring from an expiring Countryside Stewardship or Environmentally Sensitive Area agreement, you can have a FREE one-to-one farm visit to help you through the process. A local and experienced adviser will give you information on applying, choosing and locating the right options for your farm, and managing options over the agreement period.
To arrange a FREE farm visit please contact our events team on 0300 060 1695.
Visit the Natural England stand for advice and information on all aspects of Environmental Stewardship. Natural England advisers will be on hand to answer any questions on ELS, OELS, HLS and Uplands ELS. We will be running ELS Online demonstrations, and have a farm scale model on display to talk through the options available to farmers and their agents. Farmers who are already in Environmental Stewardship will be available on the stand to discuss how it works for them, or we will be presenting the scheme at an event seminar.
