Benefits of joining the Network

By joining the Network, people can take advantage of the following:

  1. Good practice exchange: drawing on the material held on the web site, with members invited to contribute further examples

  2. E-mail Updates: Members receive by e-mail updates on relevant news and developments from the sector and policy makers

  3. Listing of Country Parks: Members managing sites can add details of Country Parks they manage to the web site (please note you don’t have to manage a site join the Network)

  4. Opportunity to Influence Policy Developments: Network Members are occasionally consulted on their views concerning developments in the sector, or asked to provide good practice examples in support of the contribution Country Parks can make. The Country Parks Network Steering Group’s work with Natural England has led to the successful establishment of the Accreditation Scheme for Country Parks.
